Gayle Villani

Executive Director

Gayle joined GO Project with more than 20 years of experience in education. She began in the classroom with Teach for America and then transitioned to oversee grantmaking and volunteerism for a corporate foundation. Prior to GO, she established partnerships between business leaders and schools at PENCIL. Gayle received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Arts in Education from California State University. Gayle lives in Maplewood, NJ with husband and two daughters and outside of GO you can find her gardening or hiking with her third daughter—her rescue dog, Josie.
