Volunteer With GO
There are many ways you can lend your time and talents to GO.
Corporate Volunteers
GO welcomes the opportunity to leverage corporate professional skills and expertise to develop one-time or a series of targeted learning workshops for GO students or for parents and caregivers of our students. Past learning workshop topics have included financial literacy, introduction to digital coding, and nutrition and healthy eating. Find out more by emailing us.
CloseLooking for a way to bring learning beyond the classroom? Host a group of middle school students at your workplace during the summer. Industry visits allow students to experience real-world career environments, meet professionals, and gain insight into different career paths. Volunteers can provide office tours, career panels, hands-on activities, or mentorship discussions to inspire and broaden students’ perspectives. Email us.
CloseOrganize a book drive for GO students to help build student home libraries. To help facilitate a successful collection, the GO team provides a curated list of age-appropriate books. Volunteers have the opportunity to help distribute books to students and families at our book fairs at the end of the school year in April or before winter break in December. Email us.
CloseBy sponsoring a part of GO’s upcoming events, you and your company affirm your commitment to advancing educational equity for New York City public school students. In addition to receiving up to 25 event tickets, sponsors are recognized through event signage, digital promotion, and acknowledgment in the official invitation.
