Sara joined GO Project full-time in 2023 after first serving as a Head Teacher and later as a Campus Operations Coordinator. She began her career through Teach For America, teaching middle and high school science in Providence for six years. During that time, she earned her master’s in teaching and her ESL certification. Working with a large population of English language learners sparked Sara’s passion for serving multilingual students and deepened her commitment to educational equity. As a teacher, she saw firsthand how much students could benefit from programs like GO, and that experience continues to inspire her work today!
