Sofia Goldberg

Senior Manager of Student Engagement and Operations

Sofia joined the GO Project in October 2024. Sofia has spent her career working with NYC youth and their families to help navigate education systems and feel like they belong in them. She started out as a classroom ELA teacher and soccer coach at a community school in Highbridge and then spent five years at a nonprofit, New Alternatives for Children where she managed education advocacy, programs, and interventions. Sofia was born and raised in Brooklyn and loves working with GO Project to support new generations of NYC students. After Saturday Program, you can find Sofia running, playing soccer, or climbing!
