GO Project is excited to welcome Chinwe Obinani to our Board of Directors!

Chinwe Obinani is a senior procurement leader with over eighteen years of experience driving enterprise-wide transformation, operational excellence, and value creation across global organizations. As a senior procurement leader, Chinwe partners closely with senior leaders across Media, Marketing, Public Relations, and News to manage key stakeholder relationships, develop a strategic pipeline of initiatives, and lead high-value strategic sourcing projects. Chinwe has held procurement roles at Revlon, Weight Watchers, Guardian Life Insurance Company, and MetLife. As a parent of children who attend one of GO Project’s host site schools, Chinwe is passionate about equity in education and community development: “Access to equitable education is critical to building the confidence and academic potential of young people. Few things are more rewarding than seeing the twinkle in a student’s eye when they discover what they are capable of achieving. Those moments inspire and motivate me. I am delighted to serve on the board of GO Project, an organization whose mission is deeply rooted in educational equity. I look forward to supporting the outstanding work of GO Project in helping public school students and their families thrive, and to bringing that twinkle to as many eyes as possible.”

GO Project looks forward to working with Chinwe Obinani to support students and equip them with the skills they need to make academic progress, graduate on time, and achieve long-term educational success!

Our partnerships help us strengthen schools, families, and communities.

At the GO Project, we are always open to exploring collaborations with schools, higher education institutions, and other nonprofits that strengthen NYC’s public schools, families, and communities.
