Kali

“The thing I enjoyed most about Math intervention is that my tutor made it fun for me to learn new techniques.”

Kali, join GO in first grade at our  Berkeley Carroll site. Kali’s experience with Math Intervention made a real difference in her learning journey, helping her build confidence in the subject and giving her the tools necessary for sustainable long term academic success.

With the individualized 1:1 support, Kali was able to grow not just her math skills but also her confidence. “She used to be timid and unsure, but now she’s much more confident,” Evelise, Kali’s mom, notes the transformation in Kali’s attitude toward math. “Kali has definitely come a long way from how she used to see math, she is starting to like the subject thanks to all the extra support through the GO Project. I can’t wait to see her continue to grow and flourish.”

Kali’s goal after GO Project was to continue improving her math skills, and she had a foundation to build on through the intervention program. Beyond math, she enjoys watering all the plants and crops in her school’s hydroponics lab and participating in the sewing club in her afterschool program.
