GO Expands to new Brooklyn site at Packer

The GO Project officially launched our newest program site in Brooklyn through a partnership with The Packer Collegiate Institute.

On October 18, GO welcomed our first classes of K-2 NYC public school students at our new Brooklyn program location at The Packer Collegiate Institute. Over time, we will scale this site to serve a total of 150 K-8 students.

This expansion was made possible through our exciting new partnership with The Packer Collegiate Institute, which will share its space to allow GO to host programming on Saturdays during the school year and for five weeks over the summer as part of a shared commitment to supporting local public-school students. Packer joins five other independent schools as GO Project’s host site partners: Grace Church School, St. Luke’s School, Berkeley Carroll School, LREI, and Avenues: the World School.

With the addition of this new site, GO Project will expand its programming to serve over 800 NYC public school students at a time when students and public schools need more support than ever – as they face increasing academic pressures, resource limitations, and growing social-emotional needs.

Our partnerships help us strengthen schools, families, and communities.

At the GO Project, we are always open to exploring collaborations with schools, higher education institutions, and other nonprofits that strengthen NYC’s public schools, families, and communities.
